The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on three Ukrainian Air Force planes shot down in a day

Russian fighters shot down three Ukrainian Air Force planes in air battles over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Defense reported in its daily summary. All three air battles took place over the territory of the Nikolaev region.

One Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down near the village of Novokhristoforovka, one MiG-29 fighter over Troitsko-Safonovo and one Su-27 fighter near the village of Novoselye .

In addition, air defense systems shot down nine Ukrainian drones in a day.

According to the official data of the Russian Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, the following have been destroyed: 267 aircraft, 145 helicopters, 1,720 unmanned aerial vehicles.
