Director of the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Politics Anton Orlov proposed to give children under guardianship the right to inherit, RT reports.

In his address to the head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov, the political scientist recalled,  that according to the law, seven lines of inheritance of property are defined.

Thus, distant relatives who could see each other only a few times have the right to inherit property, while the child is under guardianship, with whom the guardian could live for years and with who has good relations, does not have the right to inherit.

Orlov also notes that it is advisable to amend & nbsp; the Civil Code in terms of including minor children who have been under guardianship for at least three years, in one of the succession queues by law.

Earlier, State Duma deputy Natalya Kostenko submitted a bill to the lower house of parliament, which proposes changing the procedure for collecting loans by banks in the event of the death of borrowers . According to the document, banks must first apply to the insurance company with a demand for repayment of the debt, and only then to the heirs.
